The best preparation is to come with an open mind and a willingness to learn and immerse yourself in the experience. For Yoga Teacher Trainings, maintaining a regular yoga practice beforehand can be beneficial but is not always strictly required for 200-hour programs. We often provide a recommended reading list or some pre-course study materials to help you get acquainted with key concepts. Most importantly, prepare to disconnect from daily stressors and engage fully with the teachings and the community.
Our Yoga Ashram is located near Tamarindo in the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica. The closest international airport is Liberia International Airport (LIR). From LIR, it's approximately a 1 to 1.5-hour drive to Tamarindo. We can help arrange airport transfers for an additional fee, or provide guidance on shuttle services and taxis. Some programs may include group shuttle from LIR or Tamarindo local airport; please check the specific course details.
